On Monday 27 April 2026, the Deputy Managing Director of H. Savy Insurance Co. Ltd, Mr. Francis Lebon, paid a courtesy call on the Speaker of the National Assembly of Seychelles, Hon. Azarel Ernesta.
The meeting marked the formalisation of a partnership between the National Assembly and H. Savy Insurance, which included a donation of SCR 75,000 in support of the National Assembly’s hosting of the SADC Parliamentary Forum 59th Plenary Assembly, scheduled to take place in Seychelles in July 2026. This event represents a significant milestone for the Parliament and underscores Seychelles’ role within the regional parliamentary framework.
During the engagement, the Hon. Speaker provided an overview of the preparations for the Plenary Assembly, including the programme of activities, expected participation from all Member States, and key thematic areas for deliberation.
