On the afternoon of Monday 2nd March 2026, the outgoing Ambassador of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta to Seychelles, H.E. Mrs. Francesca Alexandra Azaïs paid a Farewell Call on the Speaker of the National Assembly Hon. Azarel Ernesta.
Ambassador Azaïs opened the discussions by expressing what an honour it was to pay her farewell to the Honourable Speaker, following her profound and active seven‑year tenure as Ambassador to Seychelles. The heartfelt conversation centred on the different activities and projects she had devoted her time to and successfully accomplished, as well as personal reflections on her diplomatic journey.
Hon. Ernesta took the opportunity to sincerely thank Ambassador Azaïs for her outstanding efforts, assuring her that the excellent relationship established between the two states will continue developing with the incoming Ambassador.
Following the insightful meeting, the Ambassador was presented with a token of appreciation by Speaker Ernesta, who wished her the very best in her future endeavours.
