On the morning of Wednesday 28th May 2025, the newly accredited High Commissioner of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of Seychelles, His Excellency Mr. Syed Zahid Raza, paid a courtesy call on the Speaker of the National Assembly of Seychelles, Hon. Roger Mancienne.
H.E. Raza opened the meeting by expressing his sincere appreciation for the opportunity to engage with Hon. Speaker Mancienne and conveyed his enthusiasm for fostering a closer working relationship moving forward. As part of the discussion, he formally extended an invitation from the Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan Hon. Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, for Speaker Mancienne to visit Pakistan and its National Assembly.
During the meeting, the two dignitaries exchanged insights on various topics, including bilateral relations, parliamentary cooperation, and current world affairs including the current geopolitical tension between Pakistan and India.
Hon. Mancienne showed gratitude for the thoughtful invitation and extended his best wishes to H.E. Raza in his diplomatic tenure. The meeting concluded on a positive note with a symbolic exchange of tokens of appreciation, followed by a commemorative photograph to mark the occasion
