The Honorable Member, Mr. Terence Mondon was born on the 16th of October 1967.

Hon. Mondon completed his A Level studies at the Seychelles Polytechnic and later went on to study his Bachelor in Computer Science and Business in Brussels, Belgium in 1994. He then returned to Seychelles in 1996 after completing an MBA in Business Administration. 

For many years he represented the District of Takamaka as a football football player and the sense of appreciation for his community led him to join politics in 2001.

In 2002, he stood as a Member of the Seychelles People Progressive Front (SPPF) for the Legislative Elections for the district of Takamaka and was elected into Parliament. He was re-elected in 2007 for a second term. During both terms, he served as Chairman for the Finance and Public Accounts Committee.

In 2012 he joined the Executive branch of Government where he occupied the position of Principal Secretary for Transport in the Ministry of Home Affairs and Transport. During that time he was also the Chairman of the Seychelles Investment Board.

In 2013, his political journey took a different turn when he decided to leave politics and ventured into other sectors of work.

He rejoined politics in 2015 by joining Lalyans Seselwa and the following year he participated in the Legislatives Elections as an Opposition Candidate and is a Proportionately Elected Member of the 6th Assembly for the Opposition Party - Linyon Demokratik Seselwa (LDS).

In 2020, Hon. Mondon was elected to be a Member of the 7th Assembly for the district of Takamaka for the ruling party, Linyon Demokratik Seselwa. 

He currently serves as the Vice Chairperson of the Finance and Public Accounts Committee and as a Member to the Pan African Parliament (PAP).
