The Honourable Member Mr. Sandy John Arissol was born on the 8th of May 1977.
Hon. Arissol completed his studies at the Seychelles Polytechnic and began his vocational career as a Lab Technician for ten years. His political career commenced in 2007 when he joined the Seychelles National Party (SNP) and successfully secured a seat as the elected Member for the St. Louis District during the 4th Assembly. After completing his five-year mandate, Hon. Arissol did not participate in the 5th Assembly Elections however he continued to work as the Deputy Secretary General for the Party.
In September 2016, he was re-elected as the Member for the St. Louis District under the Linyon Demokratik Seselwa Party. During the 6th Assembly, Hon. Arissol was a Member of the Committee on Government Assurances (COGA), and the Committee on Reforms and Modernisation.
Hon. Arissol was re-elected once again in 2020 for the District of Bel Ombre and was elected by the Assembly to perform the role of Chief Whip for LDS. During the 7th Assembly, he was a Member of the Defence and Security Committee (DSC), and the Finance and Public Accounts Committee (FPAC). During his time as an elected Member for Bel Ombre, he demonstrated determination and a strong commitment to progress, playing a key role in helping his constituency complete three major housing projects, addressing the longstanding need for affordable housing in the district.
Hon. Arissol was sworn in as a Proportionate Member of the 8th Assembly on Tuesday 28th of October 2025, for his fourth parliamentary mandate.
