The Honorable Member, Ms. Flory Larue was born on 24th October 1978. She has two sons.

Hon. Larue worked in the aviation industry for over five years as a cabin crew for the National Airline, Air Seychelles.

She then delved into the jewelry industry working for Kenwyn House where she grew through the ranks being instrumental in opening the satellite stores and training staff. She later worked in the Marketing department leading the teams. She lived in La Reunion for around 4 years and when she returned to Seychelles, worked in the tourism industry running her own guest house for some time.

In 2015, she joined Mrs. Alexia Almesbury to set up the Seychelles Party for Social Justice and Democracy political party and then worked on the campaign team promoting Mrs Almesbury as the first Woman Presidential candidate for the 2015 presidential elections. Hon. Larue formed part of the campaign team for the 2015 Presidential Elections.

Hon. Larue later joined the Linyon Demokratik Seselwa political party and ran for the legislative elections in 2016 for the district of Anse Royale.

In September 2016, she became a Member of the 6th national Assembly for the Opposition Party, Linyon Demokratik Seselwa (LDS). Hon. Larue served as Vice-Chairperson of the Media, Youth & Culture Committee and was also a member of two Committees, namely the Committee of Women Parliamentarians and the International Affairs Committee.

On Tuesday 22nd February 2022, Hon. Larue took the Oath and became a Proportionately Elected Member for LDS for the 7th National Assembly.
