The Honorable Member, Mr Clifford Andre was born on the 01st of July 1970.
Hon. Andre became a Judge Advocate General at the Military Law Institute in Kamptee India in 1994. He later went on to complete his LLB (Hons) at the University of East London in the UK in 1999.
From 1995 to 2001, he was a Lieutenant in the Seychelles People's Defence Forces (SPDF) and later appointed as Captain in the Seychelles People's Defence Forces (SPDF) until 2008. During this time he obtained an LLM in International Maritime Law at the International Maritime Law Institute at the Republic of Malta.
From 2007 to date, Hon. Andre has been the Founder and Owner of Law Chambers of Clifford Andre & Project Management, Seychelles.
Hon. Andre was a Member of the 4th National Assembly of Seychelles which was in Session from 2007 to 2011 as a Proportionately Elected Member of the Ruling Party.
In September 2016, he was elected as a Member of the 6th National Assembly for the district of Anse-Aux-Pins for the Opposition Party, Linyon Demokratik Seselwa (LDS).
In 2020, Hon. Andre was re-elected as a Member of the 7th Assembly for the district of Anse-Aux-Pins for the Linyon Demokratik Seselwa who now represents the Government.
Hon. Andre currently Chairs the Bills Committee and the Defence and Security Committee is a Member of the Africa Caribbean Pacific - European Union (ACP-EU)
