The Honourable Anne Simone Bistoquet was born on the 6th of August 1990, and grew up on Baie Ste Anne, Praslin. She and her one son now live in Beau Vallon, Mahe.

Her career has spanned several years and industries, with the most prominent moments being her experience in the Judiciary. Hon. Bistoquet held the positions of Administrative Assistant, and then Senior Law Clerk of the Registrar's Office of the Supreme Court. In this time, Hon. Bistoquet worked closely with the Registrar Mrs. Juliana Esticot, and delivered legal research briefs as part of her duties.

Honourable Bistoquet has always had a great interest in the politics of her country. In trying to encourage young people to develop an interest in national politics, she championed the development of social media in sharing political information and educating the youth to take on leadership roles. During her activism, Hon. Bistoquet spoke out against gender inequality and fought for more equal representation of women in the political sphere nationwide. She seeks to become the voice of the younger generation and women in general and to speak out for those who feel intimidated and are unable to participate in the national life of the country.

In February 2024, she took the Oath and was sworn in as a Proportionally Elected Member for LDS, in the 7th Assembly.

Her personal interests include diving as a certified PADI Dive Master, and studying for her Bachelor of Law with Honours. Hon. Bistoquet believes in always furthering her education and knowledge, and enjoys broadening her academic horizons.
