A Bill is a proposal for a new law, or a proposal to change an existing law that is presented for debate before Parliament. Bills are introduced for examination, discussion and amendment in the House. Once agreed and made into law, the Bill becomes an Act of Parliament. It is to be noted, that not all Bills will become an Act.
