The Minister for Finance, Economic Planning & Trade, Mr. Naadir Hassan made the Budget Address to the House on the morning of Friday 12th November 2021.
Several Budgetary and taxation measures were announced, including certain major infrastructural projects to be undertaken.
The Members of the National Assembly will be presenting their Replies to the Budget Address on Tuesday 16th until Thursday 18th November 2021. The Replies will commence with the Leader of the Opposition, Hon. Sebastien Pillay, followed by the Leader of Government Business, Hon. Bernard Georges. Following from this, the other Members will present their Replies.
The House will then go into the Committee Stage whereby the respective Ministries & Department will defend their budgets in the House.
