The Hon. Jean-Francois Ferrari was elected as a Member of the National Assembly in 1998 where he occupied a proportionate seat. In 2007, Hon. Ferrari was again  re-elected as the Member of the National Assembly for the Mont Fleuri Constituency.

In 2008, Hon Ferrari resigned from his National Assembly seat and contested in a By-Election in the Mont Fleuri Constituency where he reclaimed his National Assembly seat as the Member of the National Assembly for Mont Fleuri.

Hon. Ferrari is a member of the Finance and Public Accounts Committee.
