The National Assembly encourages you to use material made available on its website in which copyright or database right subsists pursuant to the Copyright Act 1984 (CAP 51) and Data Protection Act 2003. Use of National Assembly’s material is also governed by the Speaker’s Determination on Conditions Governing Media Coverage of Proceedings of the National Assembly of Seychelles (S.I. No. 1 of 2013). The following are excluded from this Copyright Statement as their terms of use are governed by the aforementioned Speaker’s Determination:

  • parliamentary archives;
  • parliamentary photographic images; and
  • live and archive video or audio broadcasts.

The National Assembly’s material may be used freely and flexibly, consistent with the way public sector information is made available for use.


These terms do not grant you the right to use any branding or logos used on the National Assembly’s website, or the right to remove, obscure, or alter any legal notices displayed thereon. The National Assembly does not make any commitments about the content of its website, its reliability, availability, or ability to meet your needs. The contents are provided “as is”.


We may modify these terms or any additional terms that apply to the use of the contents or materials of the website to reflect changes to the law or changes to our policies and such changes unless indicated otherwise, shall apply immediately.
